Jotty Kinney

Lead Pastor

Jotty has served in this community for more than two decades and is excited to see what the future is bringing. Coming out of Arkansas to attend Southwestern Assemblies of God University and get his Bachelor's in Pastoral Ministries. He and his wife Haley have led this congregation for over 25 years. They have three wonderful boys; Jackson, Samuel, and Charlie. Jotty has served in numerous roles on staff, but has been the lead pastor since 2003. He holds his ordination with the Assemblies of God. Jotty has a God sized vision for Lea County and hopes to see entire families and generations come to know Christ.

 

Haley Kinney

Family Pastor

Haley is a native of Hobbs, and her family have been a large part of this church and the community for decades. She served as the Children's Pastor here at C3 from 2011-2024, in 2025 she became the Family Pastor over all of the departments involving the family. She also leads in many different roles though-out the church. She has a heart for the kids of this church and community, she hopes to see them grow in wisdom and knowledge of Christ in their formative years, so that it is carried through their adult lives.

David Blackwood

Worship Pastor

David, though born in Texas, grew up in Hobbs. He has been a fixture in this church for over a decade. David became a full time staff member of Christian Center in 2015. David has a diverse education background through working with Atlanta Leadership College under Jeanne Mayo, and attending classes at Southeastern Assemblies of God University. He holds his ministerial license with the Assemblies of God. David has a heart for leading people in worship and it is his vision to see the church come together with like hearts and mindsets regarding worship, and through that to see a change in our communities and throughout the world.

Jay Juarez

Young Adults Pastor

Jay and Jami Juarez along with their two sons Jax and Jayce joined our team here at Christian Center Church in 2021. Jay works as a Firefighter/ EMT for the City of Hobbs and has a vast amount of ministry experience. He and his wife Jami serve Lea county faithfully. They are excited what God has in store for our young adult crew and believe that God has incredible plans for using them to make an impact.

 

Mike Hendon

Associate Pastor

Mike was on staff from 2013 to 2017 as the youth pastor and stepped away for a time to begin a career in Christian Education. He and his wife Emily joined us once again in June of 2023. Mike has been in ministry for 15 years and graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in 2013 with a BA in Church Ministries and an AA in Bible and Theology. He and his wife Emily, welcomed their baby boy Parker in 2024. Mike is a staple in our community as the CEO of The Boys & Girls Club of Hobbs.

 

Jackson and Britain Kinney

Youth Pastor & Connections Director

Jackson and Britain have been a part of Christian Center Church all of their lives. Growing up in the church and now working there has been such a blessing. Jackson is the Youth Pastor for 180 Youth, and Britain heads up our Connection Ministry. Outside of C3, Jackson works for the Economic Development Corporation of Lea County. Britain works for Edward Jones. They have such a love for our church and our community.

 

Sam Kinney

Children’s Pastor

Sam grew up in ministry at Christian Center. He has been involved in nearly every ministry that we have on site. Sam has his Associate of Arts degree from NMJC and has become a vital part of the team. Sam handles a number of aspects from events, to team planning, and helping coordinate with the Ministry departments. In 2025 he begins his pastoral journey leading the C4 crew. He loves his city, and hopes to lead well in his capacity at C3.

 

Kerrie Horne

Office Administrator

Kerrie and her husband Greg have called C3 home for more than 20 years. They have 2 sons, Cutter and Carson. In addition to being the office administrator, Kerrie serves on multiple teams, including the Worship, Prayer and Bridge Women’s Ministry teams. Kerrie and Greg cherish their work at Christian Center Church and hope to broaden their impact in the community of Lea County.

 

Cici Papez

Livestream Administrator

Cici and her husband Kyle along with their two children, Jensen and Tember, were transferred to Hobbs through Kyle’s oil and gas job in 2020. Never having visited or been to Hobbs before, they found Christian Center Church online and attended as soon as they settled. She became a part of the church family here by volunteering in multiple areas including youth, C4 check-in, 411, and more. Eventually she landed in Live Stream, where she found a passion and heart for expanding Christian Center’s livestream media to reach farther and wider audiences. She looks forward to bringing God’s Word to everyone, everywhere they could be and welcoming them home through our online ministry.
